Using soil information (physical soil characteristics, water management and soil type), suitability matrices will be produced for a list of selected crops.

For those crops where also the relief is important (vineyards and greenhouses), the information about the slope and the direction of the slope will be taken into account.

Based on the slope, a soil erosion sensitivity map will be produced using the universal soil loss equation.

The final result of the project is to come to a structure plan for agriculture (Ecological view).

Later, using the results of this project, an economical view of the agricultural situation can be added. Both plans are the basis of Agricultural policy making in Somogy.
